Indication

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, erosive esophagitis, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, bloating, and peptic ulcers.

Dosage

As directed by physician; typically one capsule daily, 1 hour prior to food, swallowed whole.

Side Effects & Precautions

Headache, dizziness, stomach pain, diarrhea, dry mouth, nausea, rash; rare serious effects include low magnesium, vitamin B12 deficiency, bone fractures with long-term use, allergic reactions.
